Sep 13, 2009 - Points races come to a close crowning a winner in each division.

Jay's Auto Wrecking Super Late Models - Doug Eck from the off pole position brings the Late Model division to life and takes them into turn one. Eck looses the field by lap 10 as Dennis Lunger from his mid field starting position puts on a impressive run taking his 17l machine to the 3rd position at the halfway point. Chris Hackett on a hard charge from the back of the pack comes to take the second position from Dave Lyon on the exit of turn four on the final circuit as Eck takes the checkers.  Your Top five finishers are Doug Eck, Chris Hackett, Dave Lyon, Dennis Lunger, and Andy Kania.

Plyler Overhead Door E-mods - John Boyd and Brian Farink lead the field to the green from Spanky Hall. With 10 in the books Ron Seely and Tim Rockwell get together in turn three retiring both cars to the pits. Tom Hagberg was able to mount a charge towards the front and battle Boyd for the lead but was not able to mount a run on Boyd as it appeared that his tires went away allowing Fardink to grab second in the closing laps. Boyd took the checkers and beat Rich Michaels Jr, by 3 points to be crowned the Plyler Overhead Door 2009 Points champion.

Limited Lates-
Brian Crandall and Chris Ottoway headline the starting field for the $1,000 to win feature event. Crandall brings them to life and takes the field into turn one as Bobby Rohrer gets into Greg Fenno and turns himself around sending him to the tail. Ottoway holds the top slot and brings them to the green for the restart. Fenno looses the handle it turn one and collects Mike Lozowski, and Adam Hilyer. Fenno returns to the tail and tries to make up ground in the points that only seperate himself and Rohrer by a total of 20. Wade Slaney takes over the top position on lap 9 and goes the distance picking up another feature win.

Bobby Rohrer finishes in the 6th position two ahead of Greg Fenno wich seals the hunt for the points race and crowns him the 2009 Limited Late Model Points Championship.

Specialty Products Street Stocks - Chris Withers and Paul Shrekengost headline the 30 Lap $1500 to win Feature event. With two in the books the field is slowed for the first caution involving Chad Schauers and the 29 of Nate Arp. Withers brings them to life as Firestone slips exiting turn two loosing 5 positions. A lap four caution slows the field again for the cars of Joe Rohrer, Nate Arp, and Brian Cramer. Withers leads the field back to the green form Spanky as Dave Tackett Jr, finds himself in the second hole. With 17 in the books Firestone has Battled back to the third position as Shrekengost is all over Withers for the top slot. Firestone and Shrekengost dive under Withers for the point position as withers drops to third. All Shrekengost has to do is keep the 9x machine in the top ten to capture the points title for the 2009 season. Shrekengost leads the field to the green for the 3 remaining laps and walks away to capture the win a payday of $1500.00, and the 2009 Specialty Products Points Championship.

Glover Trucking Sportsman -
John Boardman and Jake Eller lead the sportsman to the green from Spanky Hall.With no laps in the books Kid Kania looses the handle in turn one collecting the 121 of Ben Burgess Jr. After the restart Burgess was on a mission to get back to the front and found himself battling for the lead on lap 10. Unfortunately after a caution on lap 13 Burgess lost power on the restart and was forced to retire to the pits leaving the 2nd position in the hands of Steve Kania. John Boardman takes the win after 15 followed by Steve Kania, Joe Buccola, Don McGuire, and Eric Ester.

Erie Beer Challengers - Josh Hebner makes a hard charge to take the checkers in the 8 lap feature event.

Kyle Jasckson Sr is Crowned the 2009 points champion.
